CompanyPolicies.co.uk is operated by AI Director Ltd, trading as AI-Si.com. Registered in England and Wales. Company No. 17191973. We provide a software service that generates personalised UK compliance policy documents (PDF format) based on answers you provide through our questionnaire.
Important: The documents produced by this service are templates and guidance materials. They do not constitute legal advice. You should have your policies reviewed by a qualified UK legal or HR compliance professional before formally adopting them within your organisation. CompanyPolicies.co.uk and AI Director Ltd accept no liability for losses arising from reliance on these documents without independent professional review.
You must be at least 18 years old and acting on behalf of a business or organisation (not as a consumer) to use this service. By registering, you confirm that you have authority to enter into contracts on behalf of your organisation.
This service is provided exclusively to business customers acting in a commercial capacity. If you are a UK consumer (an individual acting for personal, domestic, or household purposes), different statutory rights may apply under the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013. Contact us at sales@companypolicies.co.uk before purchasing if you are uncertain whether you qualify as a business customer.
You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials. You must notify us immediately at sales@companypolicies.co.uk if you suspect unauthorised access. We reserve the right to suspend accounts where we have reason to believe credentials have been compromised.
All prices are shown in pounds sterling (GBP) and are exclusive of VAT unless otherwise stated. Payment is processed by Stripe. By purchasing a subscription or one-off product, you authorise us to charge the relevant amount to your payment method.
To cancel your subscription, email sales@companypolicies.co.uk with the subject line "Cancellation Request" and your account email address. We will confirm your notice start date within one business day.
Cancellations require 90 days' written notice and take effect at the end of the notice period. You will retain access to your subscription and continue to receive policy updates throughout the notice period.
After the notice period ends, your account moves to read-only and downloads become unavailable.
We do not offer refunds on completed billing periods. If you believe you have been charged in error, contact us within 14 days and we will investigate.
An active subscription entitles you to:
One-off purchasers receive a single document download only and are not entitled to future updates, briefings or version history.
You may use the documents generated by this service within your own organisation. You may not:
Ownership. The policy templates, briefing content, questionnaire structure, platform software, and all other materials underlying this service are owned by or licensed to AI Director Ltd and are protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. No right or title in those materials is transferred to you.
Licence to use generated documents. Subject to payment of the applicable fees and continued compliance with these terms, AI Director Ltd grants you a non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use, copy and adapt the policy documents generated for your organisation solely for internal compliance purposes within that organisation. This licence is limited to the organisation named in your account and does not extend to any affiliated, subsidiary or parent entity unless separately agreed in writing.
Restrictions. You may not: (a) resell, redistribute, sublicense or otherwise transfer the generated documents or the underlying templates to any third party; (b) use the documents to provide compliance, legal or advisory services to third parties; (c) remove or alter any copyright, proprietary or disclaimer notices in the documents; or (d) attempt to reverse-engineer, copy or extract the template structures or logic.
Your input data. You retain ownership of the information you provide through the questionnaire. By submitting it, you grant AI Director Ltd a non-exclusive licence to process, store and use that information for the sole purpose of providing the service to you. We do not use your questionnaire data for any other purpose, including training AI models.
Statutory and Crown copyright material. Policy documents may reference or reproduce statutory language, regulatory guidance, or ACAS codes of practice that are subject to Crown copyright or third-party copyright. Such material is reproduced under the Open Government Licence or equivalent open licence where applicable. AI Director Ltd makes no warranty that such material remains current following changes in law or guidance after the date of generation.
The personalised policy documents generated by this service are protected by copyright under the Copyright, Designs and Patents Act 1988. The intellectual property in the underlying templates, structures, and language remains vested in AI Director Ltd at all times.
The licence granted in Section 8 permits your organisation to use, copy and adapt the generated documents for internal compliance purposes only. In particular, you may not: (a) share, distribute or disclose the generated documents to any third party outside your organisation; (b) use the documents to provide compliance, legal or HR advisory services to third parties; (c) publish the documents in any external communications, tender submissions, or public-facing materials in a manner that would allow the underlying template structure to be identified or reproduced; (d) remove, obscure or alter any copyright notice, proprietary marking, disclaimer, or document identifier embedded in the documents; (e) use the documents as the basis for creating a competing policy template product or service.
Each generated document contains an embedded document identifier (in the format CP-YYYYMMDD-XXXXXX) that is unique to your generation session. This identifier does not contain personal data but allows AI Director Ltd to establish the provenance of any document in the event of a dispute.
AI Director Ltd reserves the right to take action under the Copyright, Designs and Patents Act 1988 and any applicable laws in respect of unauthorised use or reproduction of the generated documents or the underlying templates.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, AI Director Ltd's total liability to you in connection with this service shall not exceed the total fees you have paid to us in the 12 months preceding the claim. We are not liable for indirect, consequential or special losses, or for losses arising from your failure to obtain independent professional review of the documents.
We may update these terms from time to time. We will notify you by email at least 30 days before material changes take effect. Continued use of the service after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
We may also update pricing for new subscription periods. For annual subscribers, the price-lock guarantee applies as described in section 4.
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
